lifestyle

200:365

Had a blast today, and especially tonight in Sioux Falls. It was the Black Hills Corvette Classic's Hot Summer Nights event. Hundreds of Corvettes parked in downtown Sioux Falls, live music, street vendors selling food, beer (M) and water (me), and happy Corvette owners. The rest of our Club arrived in time to partake, so lots more hugs and laughter and catching up.

I almost posted a pic of six of us having fun in front of our car, but then I realized I didn't take it (being actually in it and all) so technically it doesn't qualify as "mine."

Instead, I submit this detail of the very sweet wheel of a 60th anniversary Corvette, just three weeks old. A couple in our Club recently ordered one just like it, so we stood around and drooled for a bit before meandering off to find more food.

Tomorrow we are off bright and early to hit Wall Drug and the Badlands, amongst other things.

People say that the Corvette is more than just a car; it's a lifestyle. Boy, they aren't kidding. It's a pretty amazing lifestyle at that, and I know just how fortunate we are to be able to participate.

What a great trip!
