The Kentucky Derby themed fundraiser went off spectacularly tonight, but the big surprise was discovering that it had begun snowing like crazy while we were all inside. And was piling up quickly.

Not a night to be outside in strappy sandals, a summer frock, and a fascinator, but there I was. One of my IT buds was kind enough to give me a lift to my car (I had parked rather far to give the close spots to our guests) and then brush off the snow for me.

Good night, although I did miss my date very much.

I'm tired and my dogs are barkin', so I'm going to hit the sack. Yawn.
